vectra vxr sensor question (z28net)

Not sure if anyone on here has a vectra vxr or even a z28net/nel but i know some people have had them on here. I really need to know what goes on the back of the map sensor and where it goes to. There's a couple of pics to show the sensor i'm talking about. cheers


This is the sensor



Something goes into the round hold





If you lift off the vxr cover at the top right of the engine the sensor is on a bracket bolted to the inlet (2x10mm bolts)

Should go into the inlet manifold or something. I don't specifically know on that engine.

I found out in the end nothing goes to it in the end. It monitors the atmospheric pressure and works in conjunction with boost pressure sensor. I spent most of Thursday looking for a vacuum that doesn't exist lol
